WHAT IS A CANOE MADE UP OF?
Did you know?
A 16
foot canoe can typically hold around 940 pounds, while a 17-foot canoe can hold up to 1160 pounds.
This includes persons and gear.
Equipment required and location:

🛶 The River Cam found in Cambridgeshire.
🛶 The River Stort found near the Hertfordshire/Essex border.

Who is in charge?
Providers includes International Canoe Federation (ICF) and Paddle UK
Aims:
The aims for canoeing which can be for recreational reasons (personal) and for competition. Canoeing can help with peoples physical fitness, mental wellbeing and it allows you to connect with nature.
Target Groups:
Specific target groups include families, individuals seeking fitness and relaxation, women, youth, and those looking for social and adventurous experiences.
