Risks of watersports!
👀 There are Multiple risks for Watersports! What are the risks of watersports?
Even though people believe that watersports are safe, there are risks.
Here is the 3 Primary things I believe are risks:
1)
LIFE JACKETS
Now you are wondering why this is a risk.
There are multiple types of life jackets, all with different newton measurements.
These are 50N , 100N, 150N, ETC...
these are examples of the measurements.
If someone brings the incorrect life jacket, they may sink instead of float.
It is recommended to use one that is slightly stronger then your weight.
The heaver the person is, the more stronger life jacket they need.
2)
Sinking
Though this is highly unlikely, it is a risk to talk about.
As you are in control of your vessel, you need to avoid crashing, or causing damage which may cause the vessel to sink. (go under water)
3)
Fire
Wow, a classic risk. Now you are wondering how this is a risk.
Smokers... Yes Smokers are the main cause of this risk.
They have lighters in their pockets which if they drop, they run the risk of the vessel catching fire.
This flame might be bad enough to cause enough structural damage to destroy the vessel and possible sink the vessel.
